Running Randroot -- Look out...1 parameter.
Running randroot is a snap. Just type "randroot" and you are, as my Dad would
say, in like Flyn (not sure who this is...just one of those things that you
say because your Dad said it). The 1 comand line parameter I built in is "-quit".
I added this because here is the way I have things set up on my system:
- I start up randroot at boot-time as user root.
- Whenever I log in (xdm) I start up randroot with "-quit" to get a background.
- Whenever I log out, my xdm scripts start up randroot with "-quit" to get a background.
This keeps me from having to kill off and start up a new randroot to get a background.
